Nielsen Psychological Services is a trauma-informed therapy practice dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health care. Founded by Dr. Nielsen, the practice was built to deliver specialized trauma treatment that is practical, accessible, and grounded in real-world application. A core part of our mission is extending this level of care to EMS and fire professionals serving communities across Colorado.

Our clinicians are highly trained in trauma therapy and provide services for adults, adolescents, and couples, as well as psychoeducational programming. Trauma treatment is the foundation of our work. We also bring extensive experience supporting first responders—particularly those serving mountain and rural communities. We understand the demands of high-stress professions and strive to meet clients and agencies where they are.

Our approach is flexible, scalable, and responsive, allowing us to support individuals and organizations through short-term care, foundational education, or long-term partnerships as needs evolve
