Dumpster Fire Consulting & Counseling (DFCC) provides specialized mental health counseling and consultation for first responders, military personnel, and their families.

Founded by Kelli Norden-Gilchrist, MA, LPC, NCC, a former career firefighter and third-generation first responder, DFCC combines clinical expertise with firsthand understanding of responder culture and lifestyle.

DFCC specializes in trauma and cumulative stress, relationship concerns, work/life balance, test taking anxiety, performance optimization, and retirement transition, with particular expertise in EMDR. From working through what happened to preparing for what’s next, DFCC works with individuals who want to reset, adapt to a new baseline, increase performance, and show up as the best version of themselves. Services are practical, direct, and culturally competent.
