Community-Centered Trauma Solutions
Community-Centered Trauma Solutions (CCTS) is a nonprofit organization specializing in trauma-informed counseling and support for first responders, helping professionals, victims of crime and violence, and underserved communities.
Their experienced clinicians understand the unique demands of EMS and other first responder work, including repeated exposure to traumatic events, critical incidents, grief and loss, cumulative stress, burnout, and the challenge of carrying those experiences into life outside of work. Whether you are dealing with the impact of a particular call, feeling the effects of years in the field, or simply recognizing that the work is taking a toll, you do not have to be in crisis to benefit from support.
Their multilingual and multicultural team includes seasoned trauma clinicians who bring diverse perspectives, cultural knowledge and lived experience to their work. Counseling is available virtually throughout Colorado and in person at various locations throughout the Denver metro area. We understand the realities of shift work and offer flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend appointments. In addition to individual counseling, we offer complementary approaches such as trauma-sensitive yoga, auricular acupuncture, and art therapy.
The CCTS team has experience supporting professionals in high-stress and trauma-exposed environments, including personnel connected with Denver Police, Denver 911, Aurora Fire Rescue, Denver Sheriff, Denver City Attorney's Office, the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender and other public-serving organizations.
At CCTS, they believe the people who spend their careers helping others deserve a place where they can be supported, too.
